LIFESUITnews Philedelphia Church AfricanChildrensChoir

Donate to support the Ministry that helps these kids get out of the slums of Africa and onto a life with education, health, wellness and an opportunity to see the world while praising God.  They do not have insurance to cover medical expenses, they do not have money for it.  The families do not have money for life insurance and when the parents die the children are on their own.

To Support the Choir directly goto  http://africanchildrenschoir.com/

My freinds Kyle and Laura Ashcroft have been in Africa for a couple of years now.  They do not work with the African Childrens Choir but they do work to help the same children.  They have focused on the orphans in Uganda.  Imagine children with less than nothing.

Kyle tells me of children who are called the "night walkers" because if they stay at home they will be killed or kidnapped and turned into slaves or soldiers.  We are not talking about two hundred years ago, we are talking about today and tommarow.  In the afternoon you will see children walking into the night by the thousands.  During the day many of them that have family, will help out on the family farm in in the family business in some way.  They may care for an elderly family member or they may be lucky enough to attend a school or a single class.  In the afternoon they need to walk for many miles to refuge camps that are far enough away from the warlords wrath.

In these camps you will find the nightwalkers who do have someplace to go during the day and you will find the most devistated children that have no place.  These are the ones with no one.  No one except for Kyle and Laura and a few others who are willing to risk life and limb to show the love of Christ to the lost.  When they are there, after they give out all of the medicine and what little food they may have and then there is nothing else for them to give except for love.

Kyle and Laura are able to pick up a starving lonely child, hold them and look into their eyes and say "I love you"  and mean it.

For most of the children this is enough to make a difference.

Kyle and Laura have vision to build a 100 bed orphanage and care for as well as educate the children there.  With God's help and your donations it will happen.  If you will be going to Africa or the other side of our plannet you can visit them.  I recomend you pray for them and make a donation to support the ministry.
