I love this series. Bear in mind that J.D. Robb is also Nora Roberts so beware of the occasional sex scenes if that bothers you.

The characters of Eve and Roarke continue to intrigue and captivate. In this story Eve must face some of her worst fears and nightmares. Eve as a rookie took down a serial kidnapper and rapist/murderer. It was mostly luck but when McQueen escapes prison he is determined to make Eve pay for putting him away.

The themes of love,friendship,loss,pain,survival,courage,hope….on and on, is what makes these books universal and loved by many. New York to Dallas is captivating from page 1.
